I was born in 1973 and educated at Wadham School in Crewkerne, Somerset. I live with my partner, Stephanie in Durleigh, Somerset. Most of my spare time is taken up with the ongoing renovation of our Regency period home which has definitely become a labour of love and a real passion of mine. I also enjoy socialising, playing premiership league table tennis and playing squash. I also am a keen mountain biker and enjoy trail riding on the local Quantock Hills, Exmoor, Dartmoor and in the Welsh mountains.
I have worked in financial planning and banking for over 25 years, with a career spanning a variety of roles, including Mortgage Adviser, Sales Coach, Bank Manager, Senior Client Manager and more recently as an Independent Financial Planner. I am a fully qualified Chartered Financial Planner having achieved Fellowship of the Personal Finance Society in January 2013. I fully intend to continue improving my technical ability and have set my sights on studying for a series of examinations offered by the Society of Trust & Estate Practitioners (STEP), a professional body that is relevant to a significant amount of the work that I do for my clients.
